Mason's 1st Christmas!!!!

So it was Mason's 1st Christmas this year!!! Yay for him!!!! So I have to admit I have some anxiety about doing things with Mason... My parents did a lot with me and my sister when we were little so I want Mason to have the very best of everything just like we did...   I bought him a TON of stuff OMG!!!! Really???? I did not realize he has soooo much.... He was very overwhelmed with them but thought it was fun unwrapping the presents! I have found that I want everything perfect.... like I put out cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer and wrote Mason a note from Santa! It was very fun doing all of that!! But I have to get a pic of everything because he does so much and I get really upset if he does something and I don't get a picture or video of it... I write in my calendar daily when he does something new and Jessica is very impressed but laughs at me. I would like to scrapbook one day when I have the time and transfer everything but this s looking not so realistic... I am a little crazy and obsessive about this and I don't know why but my mom took pictures our whole lives and it is so cool to see them now!!! When Hailey takes pics of Mason I plan out what props I want to use and what poses and I know she thinks I'm a retard I just get ill at myself if I don't do them and I know Mason will grow up hating pics because I stress over it and change his outfit at least once... I have an SLR camera but I don't have the time to edit them like I want so I get Hailey because she is great, patient and edits well :)  Mason ate snow cream today and I was very excited about it!! I first felt Mason move eating snow cream when I was 19 weeks pregnant!!! He loved it and of course there was a video :) Amber makes fun of me because I randomly take out my old point and shoot camera and video or take a pic of something new Mason has learned!! Last time we were in Target and I just whipped out the camera and snapped a few...  people stare at me but i don't care anymore I know I am a dork so whatever... at least i am not a fat ass mommy like most are.... lmao! :)  Mason got his first tooth this week :) It has barely popped though but they suck! He screams because it is soooo painful and I feel so sorry for him. I am about to pull them all and he can just be a toothless red headed redneck :) I put baby origel which is way better than the adult version, on his gums repeatedly and a few times he has bit me bless his heart, he bites down as hard as he can on anything to try and get relief... Sucks! Oh and I would soooooo love to be a stay at home mom... still working on that one lol prob not gonna ever happen....

Seizures are from the devil

Sunday morning I got a call from my dad... this is what I heard... "Alison get over here you're mom is having a seizure" Me and my sister still in pj's and her with no shoes ran to the car and started flying down the road. My parents live about 15 minutes away but I swear it took us an hour to get there. My eyes were dilated both hands on the wheel and I know we were going very fast with flashers on. Thank God that he was watching out for us because if I had gotten pulled I would not have stopped. My foot was shaking on the pedal as we were trying to get there. I passed the road because I was going so fast I could not make the turn and I lost it and started sobbing.. My sister said sobbing too don't worry God has her. We beat the ambulance there and I ran in and saw my moms arms and legs convulsing, eyes twitching, and foaming at the mouth. I thought she was dead, then I saw her breathing, then all I could do was hold her head rub her hair back, and say its okay mom we are all here and we love you. I repeated this too many times to count. The ambulance passed the house and my sister went running after them.  I knew the Paramedic and he told me Alison shes okay, let me get there. I guess the nurse and daughter in me would not let go. I stepped away and let them put her on the backboard and the stretcher. She was still postictal and dazed. We got to the hospital and she was still not her normal state... It took about 2 hours for her to come all the way around. I have had seizure patients before but your family is very different and it is very hard! I kept praying that she would be okay because some people do not recover and become a vegetable state. She is on seizure meds now and is doing ok. We do not know what caused the seizure. She has never had one before, and I hope she doesn't have one again. Thank you God for watching over her. We have no control over anything in this world Lord and I continue to ask for your grace, your will and to calm my worries and fears. Because I can do nothing without you, but can do all things through you who gives me strength Philippians 4:13.

Scariest Car Ride Ever

So we are heading to my sisters to cook Thanksgiving dinner which is Mason's 1st Thanksgiving ever!! Yay for him!! We had gone out to get groceries and Mason was very fussy riding...

He usually is so I just let him cry it off, after a few moments he started to cry harder and get really upset so I climbed in the backseat and Amber started driving. I fed him so milk which seemed to help some but he was just so tired and fighting sleep...

We were stopped at a stoplight and Mason started choking, like not coughing and choking, but choking. He stared turning reddish blue. I have never moved so fast in my life! I got him out of the car seat so fast and started hitting him on the back to help him catch his breath. We almost hit the car in front us us trying to pull off the road. We pulled off into a parking lot and I just held Mason and cried as he caught his breath for about 15 minutes and Thanked God that he was ok. Right then I felt so helpless as a mom, and it breaks my heart because I felt I wasn't doing my job as a mom to protect him from everything. Its been 2 days and when we ride in the car I reach back and make sure he is breathing.

I think this will continue for awhile...
